Empowering our Voices Yarning Circle

Join Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander delegates in engaging in a transformative and culturally safe experience through participation in a Culturally Safe Yarning Circle. This unique platform serves as a safe space for individuals to come together, fostering an environment where active listening, learning, reflection, and connection can flourish. The Yarning Circle will ensure delegates have the opportunity to practice sitting in a Yarning Circle, fostering mutual support and establishing a collective space grounded in shared values, which explores and embraces cultural knowledges, diversity, and celebrating the interconnectedness of our communities. By actively participating in this Yarning Circle, delegates have the opportunity to deepen their cultural understanding, build meaningful relationships, and contribute to the promotion of cultural safety and responsiveness within their respective fields.
